Mohammadreza AghaeiMohammadreza Aghaei is a senior researcher and lecturer in the field of renewables, photovoltaics, enabling technologies and energy system. He was the chair of the working group 2: reliability and durability of PV in EU COST Action PEARL PV. Dr. Aghai is an IEEE senior member and is the co-leader of an EU H2020 funded project "COLLECTiEF".

He has a very strong international profile and research experience of over 10 years on renewable energy systems. He was involved in several national and EU-funded research projects dealing with photovoltaics, energy systems, smart and autonomous technology. He has authored numerous publications in internationally peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings.

Mainly his research interests include energy transition, renewable energy, energy systems, solar energy, photovoltaics, autonomous monitoring, and enabling technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Twin (DT) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV).
