Mohammad VahidfarMohammad (Vahid) VahidFar received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Sharif and Tehran Universities in 2002 and 2007 respectively. He worked on data converters and delta-sigma DAC at Marsemai Co for 2004-2005. From 2005, he wa with Università di Pavia in Italy, as a visiting student working on CMOS reconfigurable receivers for 1-6GHz rang. In 2007, he got a post-doctoral position with Università di Pavia, in cooperation with STMicroelectronics, Pavia, working on UWB receivers and mmW circuits targeting 60GHz. He joined SiTune Corporation, San Jose, CA in 2009 working on highly integrated TV tuners for cable, mobile and satellite systems. From 2011 he was with Applied Micro Systems, Sunnyvale CA, working on high speed SerDes and CDR circuits for 100Gbps CMOS DQPSk transceivers. He joined Qualcomm Corp, San Jose CA, in 2013 working on RFIC circuit design for wireless applications including LTE, BT LE and 802.11x standards. He is currently with Apple Inc working on Analog, Mixed signal and RF circuits and systems. Dr. VahidFar has over 25 patents published with several pending patents.
