Mohammad Noori
Dr. Noori is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Cal Poly (USA) and a Visiting Professor at the University of Leeds (UK). His pioneering work in nonlinear random vibrations, hysteretic systems, seismic isolation, and structural health monitorng with artificial intelligence methods is widely cited. He co-founded the National Institute of Aerospace, established through a $379 million 15-year NASA contract, and received over $14 million in research funding. He is a member of several honorary research societies, a Fellow and Life Member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering, and the Founding Editor of the Resilience and Sustainability in Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace, and Manufacturing Engineering Systems Series (Taylor and Francis).
