His research interests include hybrid composites, advanced materials, structural health monitring, and impact studies. He is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers of Malaysia, a Professional Technologist registered with the Malaysian Board of Technologists, and a Charted Engineer registered with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers of the United Kingdom.
