Modern Mystic Grace Allison

Modern Mystic Grace AllisonLubbock author Grace Allison Blair survived a life filled with many twists and turns, and she's used those experiences and practical wisdom to teach others. Toxic is the word that Grace uses to describe her relationships and her health in the first prt of her life. A life-threating illness was her impetus for change. After a wide U-turn, Grace became a metabolic nutritional consultant with a successful health and wellness coaching practice after being trained and certified at the Eck Institute. After 18 years, she broadened her repertoire, moving on to become an expert author at ezine.com, leading health and wellness workshops, a stint as a talk radio host at Be Your Own Super Hero, and leading meditation workshops. Grace also found time to serve as a docent for the Crow Collection of Asian Art for five years. The Trammell and Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art is a museum dedicated to the arts and cultures of China, Japan, India and Southeast Asia, located in downtown Dallas. In 2004, Grace released her nonfiction book: A Dream Is a Wish the Heart Makes: OR if at first you don't succeed, change the rules. The first half of the book is Grace's engaging and moving personal narrative of struggles and hardships; her difficult childhood and later battles with illness; concluding with clear advice to help readers find peace and God in their lives. Although it's written from a Christian perspective, it is easily understood from a secular point of view as well. The second half of the book consists of 40 pages of exercises on overcoming obstacles and getting out of your own way in order to find peace and happiness. Read More Read Less
