Mj VaughnGrowing up in a house full of strong women and one extremely patient and loving man, you learn a few things. First, you eventually learn how to share so I am sharing the thoughts of my heart through my characters. Second, you learn to speak up. I tryto help my characters develop their voice though it may be through trial and error because knowing what you want and explaining it may not always work the way you want it to. Lastly, you learn to unconditionally love the people that irk you the most because they are the same people that love, protect and guide you. In my writing, I want my readers to love the characters and how they are shaped through their experiences as we all are. That said, some of my favorite things are dogs, the color red and cake, in any and all forms. I began writing because I never thought that I could and that book I wrote in kindergarten about the love between a cheeseburger and french fries hadn't inspired me as much as one would think.
