Mitchell DurhamMitchell Durham received the MA and PhD from Western Seminary in the integrative psychology/theology program. Prior to this he received an undergraduate degree in Missions from Harding University. He has been licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in Neada, Arkansas, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He continues to work in clinical settings that are integrated with a Christian worldview. His view of the counseling process can be summed up as an endeavor in discipleship in which the individual is aided in becoming more reflective of the life God intends us to live. Whether as a Christian or as a Psychologist, throughout his career, he has sought to develop a truly God centered life within himself and others, exploring how best to go about this aside from ultimate reliance on God. As part of this he has led small groups for most of the last 4+ decades. Additionally, he has developed a format for peer accountability groups called LifeChange Partners. He has worked in churches as a lay leader, small group leader, elder, church planter, Christian college instructor, and as a small groups pastor. "Field testing" the format for the Disciples Bible Study over the years individually and with groups has resulted in the current work seen here.
