Miriam Galvonas JasiulionisDr. Miriam Galvonas Jasiulionis is a Professor at the Department of Pharmacology, in the Laboratory of Ontogeny and Epigenetics, at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo, Brazil. Her lab has investigated the role of epigenetic alterations in the relaionship between sustained stressful conditions and malignant transformation, especially in melanocytes, to contribute to better comprehension of mechanisms involved in melanoma genesis and open avenues to develop novel therapeutic approaches.
