Miriam BrownMiriam was born in London, but evacuated to Sussex early in World War Two. She began writing poems and stories at aged 17, and continued doing so while training as a nurse in Brighton. Canada fascinated her, and her stay there has influenced both herEnglish and French poetry. She includes a translation of her seven little French poems.
