Mirella Mariani was born in a small town called Giussano, Italy. As a young child, she loved drawing, caring for animals, and being in nature. Mirella has illustrated many children's books. She enjoys nature and animals--and she is very curous as well! She now lives in Milan with her two children, a cat, and a tortoise.
