Miranda J LubbersMiranda Jessica Lubbers is associate professor at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain. She received her PhD from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Her research addresss two main areas: migration and transnationalism, and poverty and livelihood strategies. Her research has been published in indexed journals like Ethnicities, the Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Sciences, and Social Networks.
