Min SongProf. Min Song served as Program Director with the NSF from 2010 to 2014 and is currently the Founding Director of Institute of Computing and Cybersystems, Dave House Professor and Department Chair of Computer Science, and Professor of Electrical andComputing Engineering at Michigan Tech. Through his outstanding contributions in promoting NSF's international leadership, Min received the prestigious NSF Director's award in 2012. Min's research interests include design, analysis, and evaluation of wireless communication networks, cognitive radio networks, network security, cyber physical systems, and mobile computing. His research has been supported by NSF, DOE, NASA, and private Foundations. Min's professional career comprises 26 years in industry, academia, and government, and has held various leadership positions and gained substantial experience in performing a wide range of duties and responsibilities. Min launched and served as Editor-in-Chief of two international journals. He also served as Editor or Guest Editor of 14 international journals, and served as Chairs of many conferences, including General Chair of IEEE INFOCOM 2016 and Technical Program Vice-Chair of IEEE GLOBECOM 2015.
