Milton Cezar RibeiroMilton is working majorly in the domain of Ecological Sciences for last 20 years. He did his PhD from University of Sao Paulo, Brazil with sandwich PhD from University of Toronto, Canada. He is the principal investigator at the Spatial Ecology and Coservation Lab (LEEC), and his main interest is to understand how land use and environment changes affect plant and animals' community and ecosystem functioning on different temporal and spatial scales. He also works with stakeholders to develop policies to solve socio-ecological conflicts. He is also interested in movement ecology, functional diversity, ecosystem services, agro ecosystems, landscape dynamics and climatic changes. Milton has published 130 research papers in peer reviewed high impact journals, 10 book chapters and supervised more than 40 theses including maters and doctoral work.
