Millie Jean CoppedgeMILLIE JEAN COPPEDGE grew up on a farm in a small East Texas town. She attended East Texas State Univer- sity, where she received her master's degree in Elementary Education, then went on to be certified in English as a Second Language. She has taugh seventeen years for the Dallas Independent School District and is currently also teaching two writing courses at Eastfield College, Mesquite, Texas.
