Milan Naidu

Milan NaiduLieutenant General Milan Lalitkumar Naidu, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, was commissioned into The Rajput Regiment in 1967. Having done his schooling in Bhopal, he decided to settle down in Bhopal on retirement. During his forty-one years of eventful commissionedservice in the Indian Army, he tenanted several prestigious and challenging appointments. He attended the Command and Staff Course in Canada, was an instructor in the Indian Military Academy and the Infantry School, and was posted in the Military Operations Directorate at the Army Headquarters. He commanded The Fifth Battalion, The Rajput Regiment, in Sri Lanka. He was appointed as our Military Attaché in Germany. He commanded a Division as part of the Strike Corps, and the Corps in Ladakh. The General was the Commandant of the Army War College and later was appointed the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Army Training Command.
