Mikel HooksMikel Hooks is a writer, actor, executive producer, record company owner, and member of the Screen Actors Guild. He is also an inventor with two patents under his belt; The Original Dialysis Jacket and The Purse Protection. Mikel was born in New YorkCity to parents, Mildred and Jerry Hooks, with 50 years of experience in the music industry. Mikel was a co-writer on the song California Love, by the late Tupac which sold over 12 million copies as well as the album, All Eyes On Me, sold over 2 million copies. Mikel was awarded a double-platinum plaque. Mikel also co-wrote The West Coast Pop Lock which was a big hit record on the West Coast. Mikel also managed The Ghetto Dancers who appeared on the Tonight Show hosted by Steve Allen and on Dick Cark's American Bandstand, and the popular show Soul Train.
