Mike Slick WhoneAxle & Rodney is Mike Whone's first book. A Red Seal journeyman auto collision repair technician by day and writer/artist by night, Mike has been extremely passionate about cars for as long as he can remember. When he decided to write and illustrate picture book, he wanted to create the kind of story that would have been his absolute favourite when he was a little kid.

Mike likes to work on classic cars-like Axle and Rodney-and also has his own YouTube channel, SlickWorks, to show car enthusiasts how to create their own parts and tackle the challenges that often come with putting an old car together.
