Mikaela BakerMikaela struggled with reading and writing when she was a child due to her learning disability for sight recognition. But her love of stories helped her to overcome the obstacles of her learning disability, now she reads two to three books a week andjust completed her debut novel. In fact, her love of reading can oftentimes be the culprit of her walking into work as a zombie because, you know, just one more chapter. Mikaela lives in Arizona and works in the Queen Creek School District where she wrangles little ones who occasionally test the laws of human patience. Her writing career began when she was still in high school and her mother came to her for plotting help.
