Mieko Shindo is a fiber artist
known for her adorable animal creations. A lifelong crafter, she made her first
crochet doll 2011, which was an amigurumi version of her og. After making an
amigurumi version of her friend's pet as a gift, she started receiving orders
and became addicted to making crochet animals. She loves sharing her original
techniques for making these special dolls and has published multiple books in
