Michèle MatteauPoet, playwright and novelist, MICHÈLE MATTEAU, has studied education and psychology, has been a teacher and a journalist. She has lived in Quebec, France, British Columbia, Nova Scotia and since 1985, in Ottawa. Following the "Quatour pour cordes sesible", her first fiction novel, she published a trilogy, "À ta santé, la vie!" which was a great success among critics. The first volume, "Cognac et Porto", won the Trillium Literary Award in 2001, while the third volume, "Un doigt de brandy dans un verre de lait chaud", won the Christine-Dimitriu-van-Saanen prize in 2005. She has managed the "Vertiges" collection of Les Éditions L'Interligne from 2009 to 2013. PAUL SAVOIE is one the most prolific Canadian authors, writing in both French and English. Originally from Saint-Boniface, Manitoba, he has lived in Ontario since the early 1970s. He has written more than 30 books, including several collections of poetry, stories, and translations. His poetry books won the Trillium Book Award twice. Involved in the arts community for more than 25 years, Savoie also composes music for piano. He has worked for the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Canadian Television Fund. He lives in Toronto, Ontario. Read More Read Less
