Michelle Poirier BrownMichelle Poirier Brown is an internationally published poet and performer, currently living in Lək̓ʷəŋən territory (Victoria, BC). She co-founded the Indigenous Arts and Research Fellowship at the University of Victoria' Centre for Studies in Religion and Society, where she also facilitated reconciliation dialogues. She is an active citizen of the Métis Nation of BC and of Greater Victoria. Her poem Wake won PRISM international's Earle Birney Prize in 2019.
