Michel MielnickiMichel Mielnicki was born in 1927 in Wasilkow, a few kilometers from Bialystok in north-eastern Poland. After surviving the Holocaust, he emigrated to Canada where, from his home base in Montreal, he soon became known as "Mr. Michel", one of Canada'spremier fur fashion designers.
