Michaela Cummings grew up in Manchester, England, where she spent much of her teenage years. She moved from Manchester in the 1990s, when she began traveling in Europe, finally relocating to Toronto, Canada, in 200. She became a Canadian citizen in 2008 and currently resides in Chatham, Ontario, with her husband, Ippolito.
