After stints as a manual laborer, dishwasher, bartender, restaurant manager, commercial photographer, magazie editor, and public relations executive, Sherer decided life should imitate art and became a novelist. He is a member of International Thriller Writers, Mystery Writers of America, and the Authors Guild.
