Michael MullinMICHAEL MULLIN is Professor of English at the University of Illinois. He is especially interested in performance aspects of Shakespeare. His articles have appeared in journals such as Shakespeare Quarterly, Shakespeare Studies, and Teatre Journal. He is the author of Theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon: A Catalogue-Index to Productions of the Shakespeare Memorial/Royal Shakespeare Theatre, 1879-1978 (Greenwood Press, 1980). His other books include Macbeth Onstage (1976) and Design by Motley (forthcoming 1995). He held an observership with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
