Michael KaneDr. Michael Kane is a tenured professor of criminal justice at West Virginia State University and lead faculty for the Songer Institute of Forensics and Criminal Justice Sciences. He also serves as a municipal court judge in Gilbert, West Virginia. H holds a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the Union Institute and University in Ohio, a M.S. degree in Forensic Science from National University in California, and a B.A. degree in Law Enforcement from Pfeiffer University in North Carolina. Dr Kane is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. In addition, he has served in various criminal justice agencies throughout the United States as a police and corrections officer, correctional counselor, and served as the chief investigator for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in West Virginia.
