Michael HalperinMichael Halperin is accomplished across media, including film, theater, and books. He has written six books, including Jacob's Rescue--a powerful tale that gently introduces children to the Holocaust. Halperin has also produced eight plays as ell as film and television projects for companies such as 20th Century-Fox and Universal. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Southern California and a PhD in Film Studies from Union Institute & University. Halperin has been recognized with a National Endowment for the Humanities Writing Grant, a Writers Guild of America West Award, Award for Excellence in Playwriting by the Association for Theatre in Higher Education, and the DICE Award from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Science.
