Peter J. Zizka, a Willimanticnative, is a past volunteer firefighter who has spent countless hours researching Willimantic and fire department history. Marc A. Scrivener is the acting fire chief of the Willimantic Fire Department and an adjunct instructor at the Connecticut Fire Academy.
