Michael C DeberardinisMichael C. deBerardinis, M.D. wrote his first book at 80 years old. He is a Vietnam veteran and a retired urologist. He started out as a paperboy and worked as a roustabout and a secretary to a U.S. representative in Washington, D.C. before going to ollege and medical school to become a physician. He joined the Army and was sent to Vietnam where he was awarded "The Army Commendation Medal" for upgrading a medical facility and improving quality of care. After practicing as a urologist for 37 years, he is retired and living in Idaho with his wife and two Labrador retrievers. He has helped raise 10 children over the years.
