Mia Barkan ClarkeMia Barkan Clarke is a working artist and a NYS Licensed Creative Arts Therapist. She holds a MA in Creative Arts Therapy from Hofstra University, a BFA in Fabric Styling, specializing in Woven Design and an Associated Degree in Textile/Surface Desig from Fashion Institute of Technology (NYC). Mia is an instructor of Art Therapy at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY, and has also taught and lectured at various conference venues including Molloy College, Hofstra University, Touro College, SUNY at Farmingdale, NYATA, and STAC. Mia is the author of FREYA'S TEARS (Cross-Cultural Communications, 2019) and TEA WITH NANA (Cross-Cultural Communications, 2019).
