Menachem MayerMenachem Mayer was born in Germany in 1932 and came to Israel in 1948. After his discharge from the Israel Defense Forces, he received his doctorate in education from Hebrew University. He has been the Science Teaching Superintendent and Jerusalem Ditrict superintendent and has received many awards, including the Weizmann Institute's Amos de Shalit Prize in 1977.
