Melissa WrayMelissa lives on the Bellarine Peninsula with her husband and two children. She has always loved reading and grew up near her local library, where she spent most of her time browsing and borrowing books. Melissa is passionate about education, in partcular literacy, and believes the ability to read and write gives power to change. Her debut young adult novel Destiny Road was released in 2012 and she was selected for The Maurice Saxby Writers Mentorship Program in 2015. Her work has won honourable mentions and features in several anthologies. She completed a Master of Education in 2017 while researching picture story book use in the classroom.
