Melissa Adele JardineMelissa Jardine, PhD. is a former Australian police officer with a special interest in policing and security across the Asia region. She is a current member of the Strategic Planning Committee for the International Association of Women Police (IAWP).Her PhD explored police culture and socialisation and advocated for greater understanding of variations in policing, especially across the Global South. Dr Jardine has worked as a consultant and advisor for the United Nations, the International Police Organization (INTERPOL), the Global Law Enforcement and Public Health Association and is an Honorary Fellow at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health at The University of Melbourne, Australia.
