Melanie S PadgettMelanie was born in Warner Robins, Georgia to parents Paul Shealy and Mary Halligan. She lived there until graduating from Georgia Southern University in 1985. Melanie moved to Macon, Georgia to begin her 37 year teaching career. She taught over 20 yars for the Bibb County School District until moving to Florence, SC to teach in the Florence One School District, where she taught for 13 years.
