McGrew Terry

McGrew TerryTerry McGrew is retired from more than thirty years of government service. She worked for the State of California, the Department of the Interior, and the Department of Defense. For the Department of the Interior, she wrote contracts. For the FederalGovernment, she worked in the airplane maintenance group at McClelland Field in Sacramento and wrote numerous procedural documents and training manuals. Additionally, she created and proofread the day-to-day reports and correspondence to base command. Many upwardly mobile young officers discovered her proof-perfect editing and were spared the embarrassment of sending a document forward to a commanding officer with a misspelled word or a missing comma. Terry had a long and rewarding career and stepped into retirement as she slipped the lock closed on the main gate in the closing ceremony of McClelland field. Retired up the road in Orangevale, Terry brings a life's work of talent into the volumes of Dragon Tooth Gold. Read More Read Less
