Maximiliano BarrientosMaximiliano Barrientos was born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, in 1979. He is a teacher and author of the short story collections Diario (2009), Fotos tuyas cuando empiezas a envejecer (2011), and Una casa en llamas 2015), and the novels Hoteles (2011)--translated into Portuguese--La desaparición del paisaje (2015), En el cuerpo una voz (2018), and Miles de ojos (2021).
