Maureen CashmanMaureen Cashman has been a teacher, administrator, traveller and writer. In 2003-5, she took her poodle, Charlie, to live in an ancient priory in a tiny village in south-western France. Her memoir, Charlie & Me in Val Paradis, first published by Simo & Schuster Australia, is available on Amazon. Her travel writing and short fiction have been published in Australian newspapers and journals. She has walked hundreds of kilometres on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, on which most of The Roland Medals is set. She lives in Canberra. Read More Read Less
