In 2003-5, she took her poodle, Charlie, to live in an ancient priory in a tiny village in south-western France. Her memoir, Charlie & Me in Val Paradis, first published by Simo & Schuster Australia, is available on Amazon. Her travel writing and short fiction have been published in Australian newspapers and journals.
