Maulana Khalid IdrisKhalid was born and brought up in West Yorkshire, England. In 2009, he graduated from the Institute of Islamic Education in Dewsbury with a BA in Islamic Studies and Arabic Literature. In 2016, he graduated from The Open University with an Upper Secod-class BA Honours (2:1) in English Language and Literature. In 2020, he gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Studies in Education (PGCPSE) from The Open University. He has been teaching fiqh, aqeedah and tajweed since 2009 and has been teaching English at a secondary school since 2017.
