Maud BoothMaud Ballington Booth (1865-1948) was one of the first leaders of The Salvation Army. She, along with her husband Ballington Booth (son of General William Booth), commanded The Salvation Army in the United States in the 1890s. Maud also cofounded Volnteers of America.
