Matt PeacockMatt Peacock is the Founder of Partners in Hope-Lake Travis and has been the Executive Director since 2014. Prior to that time, he was the Lead Pastor for the Church at Bee Cave (Austin, TX). His previous roles include Discipleship and Missions Pasto with the Church at Canyon Creek (Austin, TX), Discipleship Pastor with Mountain View Baptist Church (Tucson, AZ), Youth and Administration Pastor with University Baptist Church (San Antonio, TX), and Youth Pastor with Bee Cave Baptist Church (Austin, TX). In addition to serving with these congregations, Matt has been a leadership instructor with Concordia University and a workshop leader for conferences sponsored by the Texas Christian Community Development Network (TXCCDN). Throughout his ministry career that started in 1994, Matt's pastoral duties have included preaching, teaching, counseling, mentoring, missions and outreach activities, discipleship, leader/team development, community collaboration, strategic planning, financial administration, and staff/volunteer oversight. Matt earned a Master of Arts degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Fort Worth, TX) and a Master of Public Administration degree from Texas State University (San Marcos, TX). He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma (Norman, OK).
