Mary Yana BurauMary Yana was born in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan, School of Education, in Ann Arbor. She and her husband Brad, a dentist, have raised three children. Sasha (and Dr. Dan Meyer) are parents to Stella, and Dr. Alex (and Amanda Robinson) Burau married in 2019. They all reside in Grand Blanc and work in the Family dental offices. Youngest son, Zach, is the founder of FlyLine, based in Dallas, Texas. In addition to cooking and writing, Mary Yana enjoys traveling, dance, and teaching Pilates at her local fitness gym, Ascension Genesys Health Club.
