She studied Psychology at Fayetteville State University and worked in Corporate America until she retired in 2012. Ms. McAllister got married at the age of 19 and was married for33 years before divorce. She is the mother of four, grandmother of eight and great grandmother of two. She has been a faithful member of each church she has attended since childhood, and is a former First Lady of the churches her then husband pastored.
