Mary Hollingsworth EllisonMary Melissa Gordon Hollingsworth Ellison was born in Round Oak, Georgia and grew up in a farming family in Pompano Beach, Florida. She holds a BA from Carson-Newman and a Master of Religious Education from New Baptist Theological Seminary. She was aBaptist Student Union Missionary to Jamaica and is a Marriage and Family Counselor with expertise in Missiology and Ethno-Linguistic Studies.
