Mary HagenMary Hagen lives on a trout farm in northern Colorado with her husband, Harold. Growing up on a ranch in southeastern Wyoming, she raised cattle, sheep and horses, developing a love for animals. Today, she enjoys writing about horses and the charactes who work with them. For several years she wrote articles about the out-of-doors, local history pieces, and feature articles for a small newspaper in Fort Collins, Colorado.
