Mary Ellen CarlsonMary Ellen Brown Carlson has lived in a small town in western New York most of her life. Many family camping trips and family reunions throughout the United States and Canada-often places where bears lived-highlighted her childhood. She is a retired eacher/instructor. She lives with her husband and has three grown children. She thoroughly enjoys her role of grandma to Kate, Zach, Evie and Charlie. Wes Bossman is a retired Art teacher, and lives in rural New York State with his wife, Michel. Michel raises Nigerian dwarf goats and Wes takes care of fencing and housing on the farm. He favors watercolor as a painting medium, paints, and teaches watercolor classes for adult learners. Born and raised in the country, it's the only life he's ever cared to lead and inspires his artwork in nearly every case. Wes and Michel love to share their country life with their six grandchildren.
