Mary Elizabeth GainesMary Elizabeth Gaines is a native of Shelbyville, Tennessee, and becomes a first-time author upon publication of her book, Buried Sins. She is currently working on her second novel, which she hopes to complete by summer of 2018. Mary graduated with hgh honors from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a degree in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. She is a retired prime contractor employee from the Department of Energy Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where she held numerous management positions throughout her long career. Mary currently resides in Knoxville, Tennessee, with her husband, Sam. She enjoys spending as much time as possible with their children and grandchildren, as well as playing with the family dogs, Amos and Gypsy.
