After the untimely death of her husband, the father of her son, she continued to live and raise her family in Minneapolis, Minnesot.Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has provided more need for children's books on healing grief from the death of a parent. The Chrissy Mouse series was created as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Chrissy Mouse books were based on Mary's experience of her husband's death in 1986.
