Martina TangaMartina Tanga, PhD. is a modern and contemporary art historian and her research interests focus on institutional critique, alternative artistic media, art collectives, and social art practices. Her dissertation, entitled Arte Ambientale and Arte nel ociale in Italian Art of the 1970s, looks to a number of Italian artists who chose to work on the margins of the art establishment, forming alternative exhibitions and self-managed groups.
