He researched alternative systems of government at Imperial College, London. He emigrated to Australia and was employed n mining development. He became a high school science teacher, coached sport and wrote textbooks published by the Queensland Department of Education. He has been writing fiction novels full-time since 2013: speculative, love, crime and satire. He is involved in public policy-making, proposing an underground railway for Brisbane and reasoning about climate and Covid-19. He meets with writing and reading groups and studies philosophy.
