Marni Alyson BrownMarni Alyson Brown is an Assistant Professor of sociology at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She has been teaching gender for several years and has experience with teacher training programs and undergraduate curriculum development She has been published in Teaching Sociology, Sociology of Sport, and contributed to the reader Sex Matters. She is engaged in a few writing projects, including a project examining the exploitation of graduate students and adjuncts at colleges and universities as well as a project on student's attitudes towards the pedagogy of race and gender in the classroom.
